Former Packers wide receiver James Jones predicts Green Bay will go 16-0

Packers fans have a lot to look forward to this upcoming year, and James Jones may have just increased fans' excitement with his prediction for Green Bay's potential regular season.

On "NFL Total Access," Jones was paired with former NFL running back Maurice Jones-Drew to predict the Packers record and show if and how they will make the playoffs.

Jones started out by saying that Green Bay would start out 8-0 including a win at New England as well as on the road against the LA Rams.Jones-Drew then picked Green Bay to win seven of their remaining eight games and then allowing Jones to pick the Week 13 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings. Jones of course selected that as a win bringing the record to a perfect 16-0.

Jones-Drew then changed his picks and had the Packers finishing the season 12-3-1 claiming, "that's the real record. That's how Green Bay will make the playoffs with 12 (Aaron Rodgers) back."

No team in NFL history has ever gone 16-0 and won the Super Bowl. The 2007 New England Patriots accomplished a 16-0 regular season before being beaten in the Super Bowl by the New York Giants.

The Packers kick off their season September 9 against the Chicago Bears on 'Sunday Night Football'. WTMJ is your Green Bay Packers flagship season for the 90th straight season.
