We saw a different approach from Brewers manager Craig Counsell last night during the Crew's game against the Cardinals.
Dan Jennings started the game, but was taken out after only throwing three pitches to Matt Carpenter.
"He's tired. We put him in an ice tub last night," Counsell joked on WTMJ.
"It all worked out good. He did the job. He was excited to do it, fired up to do it. He got something, a little more to put on his resume."
Counsell says the main goal was to not allow any runs in that first inning.
It ended up working out for the team. They came back to beat the Cardinals 6-4. Their magic number to clinch a playoff berth now sits at three.
