Update: Bucks to interview former Hornets coach Steve Clifford for coaching job

The long interview process for the Milwaukee Bucks head coaching job continues, and it will include the former coach of the Charlotte Hornets.

Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN says, according to his sources, the Bucks will talk with Steve Clifford about the job.

This comes after the firing of Jason Kidd back in January and Joe Prunty directing the team to a 21-16 record for the rest of the season, plus an exit from the NBA Playoffs in the first round for the second consecutive year.

Clifford was fired after his fifth year with the Charlotte Hornets, where he went 36-46. Clifford directed the Hornets to winning seasons in two of his five years in Charlotte (2013-18).

Wojnarowski says that the Bucks have already interviewed Spurs assistant Ettore Messina. He also reports the Bucks will also interview David Blatt, James Borrego, Mike Budenholzer, Becky Hammon and Monty Williams.
