Two teams from Mexico, one with USA star Landon Donovan, featured in Miller Park soccer match

Two teams from the Mexican league will be featured in the third soccer match at Miller Park this decade. One of them has a major American big-name player.

C.F. Pachuca and Club León will play on Wed. July 11 at 7:30 p.m. at the home of Brewers, while the Brewers are on a road trip.

Club León's Landon Donovan, a longtime member of Team USA, will bring the star power to the event.

“I am excited to play in Milwaukee and at Miller Park,” said Donovan in a news release.  “Matches like this are great to grow the game of soccer.”

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 11. Prices will run as low as $15. (Click here for ticket information.)

Twice before, Miller Park hosted major soccer matches:
- 2014: Chivas (Mexico, Liga MX) vs. Swansea (Wales, English Premier League)
- 2015: Club Atlas (Mexico, Liga MX) vs. Newcastle (England, Premier League)
