Two key veterans for the Milwaukee Brewers are back after spending time on the disabled list.
Multi-position slugger Ryan Braun (back tightness) and starting pitcher Zach Davies (shoulder) will be back on the active roster Thursday for their game against the New York Mets (6:35 p.m. on WTMJ).
The Brewers have been 8-2 without Braun and Davies.
The team will send pitcher Brandon Woodruff and infielder Ji-Man Choi down to AAA Colorado Springs.
Braun has had an injury-marred struggle in 2018, with a .222 average, .681 OPS, five home runs and 20 RBI, playing in 37 of the team's 50 games.
Davies has a 2-3 record and a 4.24 ERA in six starts.
Choi has averaged .286 with a 1.018 OPS, 1 home run and 1 RBI in five games this year.
Woodruff, in seven games, is 2-0 with a 6.75 ERA.
