We have to wait until Valentine’s Day 2020 for the third celebration of brainy blondness to be released in movie theaters. Here’s hoping there’s much #MeToo progress to mark between dirtbag Professor Callahan and the third film’s plotline because Elle Woods is a cultural phenomenon unto herself!

Here’s what your favorite “Legally Blonde” (original flavor) stars have been up to since the first movie was released in 2001.

1. Reese Witherspoon (Elle Woods)

Reese Witherspoon has been busy winning Oscars and keeping a high profile with a series of successful movies including “Walk the Line” and “Wild” over the 17 years since the first “Legally Blonde” came out. Most recently she co-starred in “A Wrinkle In Time” and the HBO miniseries “Big Little Lies.” Her production company, Hello Sunshine, will be involved in the making of “Legally Blonde 3.”
