Marking one year since heavy rains rocked southeastern Wisconsin

Many of us would like to see a good heavy soaking in these parts right now, with the lack of rain in southeastern Wisconsin lately.

It was quite the opposite a year ago today when what is now remembered as the Burlington flood happened. 

The community spent millions of dollars in the days, weeks and months since to rebuild.

Outside of Racine County, almost all of Kenosha County was also effected.

Kenosha County Sheriff David Beth joined Wisconsin’s Morning News to reflect on the incident and talk about the recovery process.
