Wisconsin's Morning News

As the Milwaukee Brewers continue to lead the Major Leagues in several categories, their new team enigma continues to draw more and more national attention.

Milwaukee enters the day leading all teams in home runs (27), doubles (34), extra-base hits (64), slugging percentage (.477) and total bases (242).

Those numbers are in no small measure are a direct correlation to Eric Thames return to the Majors from Korea. Thames leads the Majors in runs (17), extra base hits (13), total bases (47), slugging (1.000), OPS (1.491), and is tied for the lead in home runs (7).

"I can’t even come up with words about how good he’s been the last couple of weeks," Brewers radio announcer Jeff Levering told WTMJ’s Wisconsin’s Morning News on Wednesday. “Ryan Braun said it best after Monday or Tuesday’s ballgame when he just said ‘hey, I’ve never seen a guy this dialed in for two straight weeks.’

“The guy is just insane right now. Ride the wave while you can.”
