Jesus Aguilar powered the Brewers offensive attack during the final two games f their series with the Rockies this past weekend; not bad for a player that could’ve been ticketed for another year in the minor leagues.
“There’s many good stories on that ballclub, but I’m not sure that there’s a better one that Aguilar,” Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Baseball Writer Tom Haudricourt tells WTMJ’s Wisconsin’s Morning News on Monday. “He (was) claimed off waivers shortly before spring training, it was late in the winter.
“If the Brewers don’t do that (claim him and then keep him on their roster), then he’s probably in his fourth year with Cleveland’s (Class) Triple-A team.”
