We Love Wisconsin heads to Grafton, Juice's Ghost Town

All American Window & Door We Love Wisconsin Tour

No, it's not haunted. The only spirits flying around at Juices Ghost Town are the smells of prime rib and seafood, or the spirits on the drink list.

Juices Ghost Town Tavern and Restaurant will bring John Mercure and the Wisconsin's Afternoon News team there to broadcast live from 3-6 p.m. on Friday, May 11 as part of the All American Window & Door We Love Wisconsin Tour.

The restaurant site says the original community of Ulao, Wisconsin (now part of Grafton) began in 1847, one year before Wisconsin became a state. Before the turn of the 20th century, a tavern was constructed in this shipping town. It was a site of "wild and wooly parties every night" with "a large consumption of moonshine liquor, homemade ale and gambling." That's now the home of Juices' Ghost Town.
