Former New York Police Commissioner remembers his role on September 11, 2001

 

He recalls heading to "Ground Zero" to meet with Mayor Rudolph Giuliani and realizing this was unlike anything they'd ever prepared for.

Bernard Kerik was the commissioner of the New York Police department on September 11, 2001 when a group of terrorists committed the deadliest attack ever on U.S. soil.

Kerik joined WTMJ's John Mercure to share his experience of that historic day in American history.
