Tornadoes confirmed in Northern Wisconsin

MENOMINEE COUNTY, Wis. - Law enforcement reported a tornado briefly touched down 5 miles west of Keshena moving northeast at 20 mph, the National Weather Service said.

Additionally, two tornadoes were reported Wednesday afternoon in Shawano County.

The first was 5 miles southeast of the Navarino Wildlife Area at 3:43 p.m. The second was one mile south of Frazer Corners at 3:52 p.m.

Other locations impacted by the tornadic thunderstorm include the intersection of Hwy 55 and County M and Middle Village, the NWS said.

Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely, the National Weather Service explained.

Even more tornadoes were being reported in the Green Bay region.
