Could the "best care in the air" be returning to the airline business? A report says they're making progress.
WTMJ news partner Milwaukee Business Journal says that the U.S Securities and Exchange Commission now owns a filing of a private stock offering for Midwest Express Airlines, the Milwaukee-based airline that operated for decades until Frontier Airlines' merger with them in 2010.
"We have a series of steps we need to take before we get to planes flying," spokeswoman Christine Williams said. "We're eager to move it forward and excited to get interest from the public."
The airline had two-across seats and fresh chocolate chip cookies in its first run.
The Business Journal says that the plan will attempt to focus on Midwestern cities with business travelers.
