Manhunt underway in Kenosha County after homeowner fires shots at burglars

KENOSHA COUNTY – The Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department is looking for robbery suspects this morning in the Town of Bristol. 

On Wednesday, just before 4 a.m., the Sheriff’s Department responded to reports of shots fired. They say a homeowner fired three shots at a possible burglar. They don’t know if the suspect was hit or not.

The search for the suspects has prompted law enforcement to close Wilmot Road between Highway MB and 136th Avenue.

Several law enforcement agencies on scene in Bristol. A manhunt is underway for a burglary suspect after shots were fired. We’ll have the latest coming up at 5:30.

The Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department also tells TODAY’S TMJ4 this incident may be connected to another incident in Mount Pleasant.
