Charges have been filed in the death of 15-year-old Dennis King.
21-year-old Malik M. Terrell has been charged with 1st-degree intentional homicide. He's accused of beating, stabbing, and burning King over a video game robbery, according to a criminal complaint. He faces life in prison if convicted.
King was reported missing on May 11. His body was found in a home Sunday, May 20.
Monday evening, friends and family released balloons into the air and honored Dennis at a vigil just steps away from where his body was found.
Pastor Malcolm Hunt comforts families of violence. He talked with King's mother.
"We are losing our babies, losing our children and losing our young people to all this evil that is going on within our community," said Hunt. "From my understanding, it was something about a game or something that this young man was beat to death over. That just shows you that we are living in the last days."
