Governor-Elect Evers calls out Speaker Vos, GOP about weakening gubernatorial power

Wisconsin's new governor-elect is responding to discussion Assembly Speaker Robin Vos has opened up about possible legislation to lessen the power of the state's executive branch.

Democratic Governor-Elect Tony Evers, who will take over from Republican Governor Scott Walker in January after beating the two-time incumbent on Tuesday, made a pointed statement through social media (below) about the possibility of "desperate antics to cling to power" through actions the state legislature and Governor Walker could take with legislation passed before his swearing-in two months from now.

Governor Walker conceded the race Wednesday, saying he would assist in the transfer of power.
