Airline from Mexico says plane involved in 'accident'

ABC reports that everyone survived the crash of the Aeromexico flight.

ABC reports that the flight had 101 people on board, 97 passengers and 4 crew. They do not have injury totals.

Tweets from the official account of an airline from Mexico says that one of its planes was involved in what it called an "accident."

ABC News reports that Aeromexico shared this tweet about the incident which happened in Durango, a northwestern region of Mexico.

The region's governor shared a tweet saying there were no available figures at the time of the number of dead or injured individuals.

An account described as owned by a state civil protection agency showed pictures including what appeared to be a large plume of smoke rising from the site of a plane.
