WTMJ Cares: Skin Cancer Screening (fully booked, but important information)

WTMJ's Week of Hope

620 WTMJ is teaming up with Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin Cancer Network to provide cancer awareness and resources.

Through this project, spearheaded by Jeff Wagner, we are encouraging people to talk with their doctors about cancer screenings that are right for them.

When it comes to skin cancer, the most common types are treatable, especially if detected early. A skin exam is something that can help with that.

IMPORTANT: The free skin cancer screenings Froedtert was offering during WTMJ's Week of Hope have all been booked. But, we hope you won’t give up.

You can schedule an appointment with your doctor for a skin exam.

At Froedtert, each screening takes approximately 20 minutes, and are made by appointment only.

A skin exam checks for abnormal moles or other skin abnormalities.
