On Friday, WTMJ will hold the first of its toy collection drives as part of Kids 2 Kids Christmas!
People can come to the Village at Manor Park from noon-6 p.m. Friday and dropped off a new, unwrapped toy for a child in need. WTMJ's Jeff Wagner Show, Wisconsin's Afternoon News and Sports Central will all broadcast live from there.
Kapco’s Kids 2 Kids Christmas Toy Drive is a grassroots program that allows people in the community the opportunity to volunteer and help those less fortunate.
It is specifically designed to provide toys for kids who otherwise might not receive anything at Christmas while teaching other kids the joy of giving.
Kapco, 620 WTMJ and the Salvation Army, in conjunction with numerous schools and businesses, hope to collect over 20,000 toys this year.
