Marquette-Wisconsin men's basketball game to be held in November

The biggest regular season college basketball game in the state of Wisconsin will happen at its earliest point on the schedule in more than 20 years.

Marquette men's basketball has announced that its game against the Wisconsin Badgers at the Kohl Center will be held on Sunday, November 17.

(Yes, that's the Green Bay Packers bye week.)

Marquette owns a two-game winning streak on UW, including a 74-69 win on December 8 of last year and an 82-63 win at the Kohl Center on December 9, 2017.

The game has traditionally been held in recent years on the Saturday before Marquette's finals, so the student bodies of both schools could be present to the game. For many years, it was held on New Years' Eve. The teams used to play twice a year when MU was an independent.
