McCarthy on Sunday's game: "It'll be great to be at home"

Wisconsin's Morning News

For the first time in nearly a month, the Packers will play a game at Lameabu Field.

How does it feel to finally be back in Green Bay?

“Feels good already,” head coach Mike McCarthy tells Wisconsin’s Morning News. “Three weeks on the road. We knew when the schedule came out that this was going to be a really hard third quarter of our season. And we have to prepare for an even tougher fourth quarter. It’ll be good. It’ll be great to be at home.”

How does McCarthy feel about JJ Watt and the Houston Texans?

“Very talented football team,” he adds. “They have playmakers in all three phases. So, this is going to be a big challenge. Ideally, you’d prefer to play these guys in a more normal flow of your season, but that’s all part of the challenge. I think it’s going to be a heck of a game on Sunday.”
