A good Samaritan who attempted to help a woman who was being beaten in a parking lot, was then shot and later died.
The Washington Post reports that 39-year-old Isidro Zarate had just watched his wife walk into a Walmart in northwest San Antonio when he saw a man and woman arguing in the parking lot.
That’s when Zarate tried to intervene, by yelling ‘Take your hands off her,’
That’s when the man reached for a gun and shot Zarate, later leading to his death.
Jeff Wagner asks- When the good Samaritan becomes the victim, do we think to act differently?
