The Kenosha County Sheriff's Department continues to investigate a two-vehicle accident from August 10, 2019 that injured six people.
The department says deputies and the Village of Salem Lakes Fire Department responded to the accident scene, on the 12100 block of 259th Avenue, around 3 a.m. The accident resulted in a head-on collision between an Infiniti traveling north and a Kia traveling south.
Those injured were taken to hospitals for treatment, with two of them flown by Flight for Life to Froedtert Hospital and Children's Hospital of Wisconsin.
The sheriff's department adds the driver of the Infiniti fled the scene prior to the arrival of first responders.
