The incident more than two miles away from Waukesha North High School was connected to the lockdown there Monday afternoon. A student was arrested.
There was a report of a student possessing a firearm at north high school. The school was placed on lockdown and searched. The student was located in a residence in the City of Waukesha and was subsequently taken into custody, more information at a later time— WaukeshaPD (@WaukeshaPD) December 2, 2019
A report says that on the same day that an officer-involved shooting happened at Waukesha South High School, another high school in the city went on lockdown.
Waukesha North High School's lockdown happened before 2 p.m. Monday afternoon. The lockdown was lifted at about 2:10 p.m.
The Waukesha Freeman reported that police were responding to another incident at the same time as the North H.S. lockdown. It happened about two and a half miles away from the school, near the corner of Pewaukee Road and Gascoigne Drive.
