Waukesha North High School placed on lockdown during same day of shooting at Waukesha South

The incident more than two miles away from Waukesha North High School was connected to the lockdown there Monday afternoon. A student was arrested.

A report says that on the same day that an officer-involved shooting happened at Waukesha South High School, another high school in the city went on lockdown.

Waukesha North High School's lockdown happened before 2 p.m. Monday afternoon. The lockdown was lifted at about 2:10 p.m.

The Waukesha Freeman reported that police were responding to another incident at the same time as the North H.S. lockdown. It happened about two and a half miles away from the school, near the corner of Pewaukee Road and Gascoigne Drive.

A Waukesha Police officer shot a student who pointed a handgun at officers at South High School Monday morning.
