Report: Harley-Davidson temporarily stops production of LiveWire electric motorcycles

A report says that Milwaukee's world-renowned motorcycle manufacturer has temporarily stopped producing electric motorcycles due to problems they found in quality checks.

Reuters says that Harley-Davidson discovered glitches in the final checks on its LiveWire bicycles, leading to new required testing. They already had sent some bikes to dealers late in September.

The company said it did not initially have a new date for re-starting production.

The bikes are set to sell at just under $30,000 on pre-orders which began in January.
